Classes at Unity - Tai Chi Class:

Tai Chi Chuan           

           Tai Chi class meets on Thursday nights from 7:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Unity Church on the Space Coast in Titusville.  This class is designed for beginners to Tai Chi and will not require any particular level of fitness.  Students will be encouraged to proceed at their own pace in an environment of calm and acceptance.  The health, balance and meditative aspects of Tai Chi practice will be emphasized, but the self defense aspect of Tai Chi will also be discussed. 

Not sure if Tai Chi Chuan is for you?  Please, be assured that you may come and try out the class and, if you find that it does not suit your needs, you will not be pressured to return or commit to a certain number of classes.  This class will be practicing the Yang-style, long form, but no memorization will be necessary. This class is not a religious activity; students of any religion are welcome.

                     Kate Perez is a black belt, former Eastern regional fighting champion and has practiced a variety of martial arts for over 25 years. She has taught Tang Soo Do karate for more than 20 years and practiced Tai Chi Chuan for more than 10 years.
